Hi. I am Lydia, happy owner of Eerie Silence. Here's a little about me.

I absolutely love God, life, music, food and the camera, but really the people that are involved in my life. This is my personal photo journal in which I want you to feel. With entries that are heart felt. The ones that draw more than just my memory back at a moment. My goal is to create an environment where this is possible.

For me there is something fulfilling about taking photographs and falling completely in love with it and the memories it creates. With that being said, photography is crazy important to me, and if for you too, then we're totally going to be a great fit!

 ... with a Sweet Ending

Here is finally a post of what this blog should be about. My life in photos! Headed downtown for a couple of hours and we were able to capture most of our moments enjoying ourselves. Went out for lunch and I tell you, I needed something in my stomach! Went in this place called, 'Cosi'. It was my first time there. I ordered the following, for me 'Pollo e Pasta' which consists of tender chicken with Mediterranean vegetables & cous cous pasta. The order was served with toasty whole wheat flat bread. To drink I had a refreshing and delicious icy Raspberry lemonade.

Afterwards I walked to 'Sweet Ending' a very pretty frozen yogurt shop, and my favorite so far. I tend to stay in my comfort zone and not go overboard with flavors and toppings. I had a strawberry and pineapple flavored frozen yogurt. As you might be able to see, my toppings were strawberry, mango and kiwi pieces, white chocolate chips, and for the first time I tried popping boba and I liked it. Its fun to eat. I saw they had Nutella flavored frozen yogurt this time but I was definitely craving something fruity. Next time I will ask for a sample and if I like it, top it with almonds.

In between, I did some shopping and a few other things I had to do. In all, I had a much needed day out with my best friend and I couldn't ask for a better day. He was my photographer for today and I am very happy I am finally able to pose more comfortably around him. You would think I was already comfortable. I am still very shy and to think we spend so much time together. Our day ended with talks, breakfast for dinner and a homemade strawberry banana smoothie.

I really loved my outfit! To me it speaks fall with a hint of summer. Aside from one of my favorite pair of earrings, I am in love with my new little black hat! I want to wear it all the time! Definitely looking forward to the next time I get to wear it. How great does it look on me? The melange sweater I am wearing it's beautiful and it has gorgeous sequins that sparkle, oh just so beautifully. I got many compliments on it. The best part about the sweater is that it doesn't itch so I was able to wear it with a bustier. I got my trusty cheap ankle booties which I adore. It makes me sad that they are falling apart. The weather isn't cold over here at all. It is perfect for the outfit I am displaying. I keep admiring my soft legs because I have used Ocean Salt from Lush before shaving, which is a scrub. Totally recommend it. Which reminds me! I am so sad they closed down the Lush store I used to go to, which is downtown! I am SO sad! Have you ever wonder why do I smell like? Well, grab yourself a sample of 'With Love' by Hilary Duff. Poof! Now, that's what I always, always smell like.

Also, did you noticed my hair got lighter since the first time I dyed it darker? I told you it would get lighter after a few washes. Didn't I? I need to go and find a better hair dresser or find a hair dye I can do myself at home. All my hair dresser really does is dye it since I am always styling my own hair. I actually like this color but knowing about my past experiences, that hair color won't be the same after my next visit. It looks different in person because my photos are obviously post processed, but it is a very nice natural color. My skin, on the other hand, it's glowing naturally! I am so in love with my shade. Thanks Mr. Sun! Look at that face! It glows and it's not make up! I am complimenting myself for all the right reasons. I am doing so good.

That was one random paragraph full of short sentences. I hope you don't mind that my awesome personality slips through at times and I can't keep a post professional for long... x
