Hi. I am Lydia, happy owner of Eerie Silence. Here's a little about me.
I absolutely love God, life, music, food and the camera, but really the people that are involved in my life. This is my personal photo journal in which I want you to feel. With entries that are heart felt. The ones that draw more than just my memory back at a moment. My goal is to create an environment where this is possible.
For me there is something fulfilling about taking photographs and falling completely in love with it and the memories it creates. With that being said, photography is crazy important to me, and if for you too, then we're totally going to be a great fit!
Herzlichen Glückwunsch zum Geburtstag!

First post with a new hairstyle and different age. My birthday was on October 18th. I always wish to post about things on the actual day each event takes place but it is too difficult. These past couple of days I've found myself enjoying the little simple moments and it makes me feel very good to say the least.
This past Saturday I went to the hair salon with a new hairstyle in mind. Originally I wanted to cut my hair shorter, which I did but not as much as I had imagined. As I am sure you also noticed by now I have front bangs now. In my opinion I look very different. My hair, although it is always hard to tell in photos, does have a different shade. I've noticed that since I had a very light dye before these recent dark shades, after each wash it gets lighter. I can't say yet if it will happen with this color since I haven't washed it yet. The color I currently have I chose it because it looks very much like my natural hair color. Also front bangs, which I think fits perfectly in the fall and winter seasons. For some reason I was hoping to look a bit older. I don't desperately want that since I pretty much admire the way I look. To the contrary of my wish, I was told multiple times I look even younger than I did before with this hairstyle. I don't mind it though. I actually embrace it.
I received a missing volume to my manga collection which just came out last month. I found out I will be getting the new PS Vita in crystal white! Another present I received later at night was from my aunt which gave me a birthday card with a beautiful message inside and money. The card is one of those which you open and plays music. I haven't had one of those in years! It's very special! Even more so for the fact that no one in my family gifts me anything other than my mom who started to give me money on my birthday in recent years. With the money mom gifted me for my birthday I bought some things yesterday in which I might or not make a post about.
I should add, I received so many greetings on my personal Tumblr page from all my followers. It is always overwhelming when that time of the year comes. It is good to read messages from so many different people making you feel so special with their kind words. I am very thankful. Also thankful for the amount of followers I've gained here. I hope you all enjoy this blog more and more as it grows old. ... xx
P.S. Janine read my previous post for her on her special day and she was very, very happy and thankful about it. She decided to return the favor by writing something beautiful for me on her personal blog. If you would like to read it click here.
