Hi. I am Lydia, happy owner of Eerie Silence. Here's a little about me.
I absolutely love God, life, music, food and the camera, but really the people that are involved in my life. This is my personal photo journal in which I want you to feel. With entries that are heart felt. The ones that draw more than just my memory back at a moment. My goal is to create an environment where this is possible.
For me there is something fulfilling about taking photographs and falling completely in love with it and the memories it creates. With that being said, photography is crazy important to me, and if for you too, then we're totally going to be a great fit!

I'm a gamer, and I've always been
I remember taking these photographs when I bought myself a beautiful white sparkling PSP system back in 2011. I only uploaded square versions of them on Instagram. I remember how happy I was with my newest gaming system at the time. I couldn't stop playing with it and customizing it to match my personality. I wouldn't stop admiring it and tweeting about it and how it had a shimmer finishing look. A few years later and my gaming library quickly expanded because PSP games are extremely affordable.I have about 18 and some which I still have wrapped because there are so many games to play! I love the feeling of getting new video games and new gaming consoles! It all excites me. This year I've been an extremely active player and even pushing myself to trying new games which I probably wouldn't have given a chance back when I had depression. Here is also a photo of a Mario 25th anniversary DSi XL which in real life is red but I no longer have that with me because I wasn't using it. I sold it and with all the money I made from it I reserved a new console that I am so crossing my fingers I will be able to get in September. I am talking about the white PS4, of course. I have a lot of other things at the moment to worry about so spending a big amount on a new console is a crazy decision to make!
I always end up mentioning my Instagram account in my posts but I know that's because it's the number one social account I use the most. Right this moment a girl that recently started following tagged my username on her photo where she said that after following me she felt motivated to take out her DS Lite and she had forgotten how much fun it is. I thought that was so sweet and awesome. From the beginning I've shared video gaming photos and with the passing of the days I've found myself sharing more and more. It's only natural. I've always met people via blogging, photography and now I can say I've made new friends through video gaming too. It's amazing.
You can share with me your video games experiences, favorite consoles and such in the comments and follow me on Instagram since I write about it so much! xx

My fave console was the PS2; I remember in my childhood playing RPG games like Final Fantasy on there :)

Final Fantasy is such a popular game. I've never played any if the games but I find myself a bit interested since I like trying new things. Thank you for your thoughts.
