Hi. I am Lydia, happy owner of Eerie Silence. Here's a little about me.

I absolutely love God, life, music, food and the camera, but really the people that are involved in my life. This is my personal photo journal in which I want you to feel. With entries that are heart felt. The ones that draw more than just my memory back at a moment. My goal is to create an environment where this is possible.

For me there is something fulfilling about taking photographs and falling completely in love with it and the memories it creates. With that being said, photography is crazy important to me, and if for you too, then we're totally going to be a great fit!

Still An Assassin in Disguise

On my last post you might have noticed I look sightly different? If so, that's because I decided to cut my bangs for fall! Well, actually it was for a change and to surprise my boyfriend on his birthday but fall not being not too far away it just seamed fitting. I hadn't cut my bangs for over a year and if you know me for long you know that I usually style my bangs to the side and I was very used to it for years! Last time I cut my bangs to the front was for my 23rd birthday and I even blogged about it here! The blog titled "Birthday Bloggette" shows a very short square cut with front bangs! As a subtitle I used an 'assassin' reference then because I received the Assassins Creed PS Vita bundle as a gift but this time around I used it again because it was included in the caption on the photo I shared on Instagram. It was all unintentionally but things are always connected somehow I believe.

My hair now has a V cut. It means my hair is cut in layers only on the front sides so when pushed back it looks like a V, and if styled with the flat iron inwards it looks very pretty! But I usually have it curled or flat straighten.

I like how healthy and shiny my hair looks even in photos because that's how it looks like in real life as well. I often get compliments from people, well, which not to brag, but I always do get tons of compliments regardless. I come from having very damaged hair back in high school days so as I get older I see that issue has away. But I still think it needs treatment. I don't do any treatment I only wash my hair regularly with shampoo and conditioner. I wish I had dedication for treatment. I am sure my hair would look so much better. I do flat iron my hair excessively and at very high temperatures (>.<) On these photographs my hair had static and my bangs weren't brushed right but that's because I had just freshly ironed them and the day was a super gloomy one and my hair gets annoying.

Recently I've been wanting to cut it short so bad. That always seems to happen to me every now and then. It's like when my hair was actually quite short I wanted it long, now that it is long I want it short. Aren't us girls lives so complicated?

Enjoy the photos xx
