Hi. I am Lydia, happy owner of Eerie Silence. Here's a little about me.

I absolutely love God, life, music, food and the camera, but really the people that are involved in my life. This is my personal photo journal in which I want you to feel. With entries that are heart felt. The ones that draw more than just my memory back at a moment. My goal is to create an environment where this is possible.

For me there is something fulfilling about taking photographs and falling completely in love with it and the memories it creates. With that being said, photography is crazy important to me, and if for you too, then we're totally going to be a great fit!

I've done several sets of photoshoots of my daughter Raiden but since I have been busy being her mom, enjoying her, teaching her and learning myself I never got around editing and publishing them. I just wanted to make sure to have taken them at the time. Now that she isn't as needy and has learned to amuse herself for a while being the happy baby she is, I find a lot of time to do things for me other than video gaming and reading. I find much pleasure in editing photos so I have been getting back at it.

These photos taken on June 10th she was nine days into this world. It was the hardest subject for me to shoot. She was so small, so asleep, without her small newborn diapers on a rug I was afraid she was going to pee. She did pee the second I put her diaper on though, I couldn't believe it! I was sweating so much this day with positioning her delicate tiny body, shooting over and over from different angles, I even got up on a chair and trying to get the perfect natural light for these photos. Not forgetting I birthed her nine days then and I should've been taking it easy. In the end I am happy with these. The little angel accessories were a gift from one of my aunts and while I didn't think much of it at first, later I convinced myself that it was nice to take up on the opportunity to make her wear it and photograph her. After all Raiden IS an angel :)
