Hi. I am Lydia, happy owner of Eerie Silence. Here's a little about me.

I absolutely love God, life, music, food and the camera, but really the people that are involved in my life. This is my personal photo journal in which I want you to feel. With entries that are heart felt. The ones that draw more than just my memory back at a moment. My goal is to create an environment where this is possible.

For me there is something fulfilling about taking photographs and falling completely in love with it and the memories it creates. With that being said, photography is crazy important to me, and if for you too, then we're totally going to be a great fit!

Throwback Thursday: Animal Crossing New Leaf
Animal Crossing: New Leaf  Bundle (2013)

After the standard New 3DS U.S. announcement about three weeks ago I haven't been able to stop feeling this crazy excitement mixed with anxiety. Good kind of anxiety. I guess that's what happens when you really love video games and all that involves the subject. Even better this lovely New 3DS is getting introduced to the region in a really beautiful Animal Crossing bundle. While I was waking up every morning hoping for the Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer New 3DS XL announcement for the U.S., the news of this bundle surely cheered me up since I wanted this model from the start. I mean the retro look of those buttons got me at first sight! The bundle might not include the XL, but the two sets of cover plates in it are beautiful! I cried when I first saw the Happy Home Designer themed cover plate long ago. The colorful one with the house and villagers... I feel great to know I will have it now! While it is more "kiddish" looking than the beautiful style of the XL, is probably my favorite from all cover plates released to date. Although there is another Animal Crossing cover plate to be release in Europe with Happy Home Designer that I have pre-ordered. Heh, heh! Not to mention, my favorite color for my systems is white always white and that's exactly what we are getting.

Now don't be silly, the photos I've provided here are a throwback to when Animal Crossing: New Leaf released in the U.S. back in June 9, 2013 I had taken these photos and never posted them. I noticed that for someone who loves video games as much as I do, I don't incorporate that much here at Eerie Silence like I do at my Instagram account. While I impatiently await the New 3DS bundle and Animal Crossing game I've decided to do a little throwback of photos to when I got the Animal Crossing New Leaf bundle. The beautiful pop-tart XL being my main and only 3DS console to date and has been for the past two and so years ever since I sold my standard aqua 3DS and the red Super Mario Bros. 25th Anniversary DSi XL. I took these photos the second I got the bundle and I remember the excitement it brought. I am not sure if doing a system transfer of just starting new with the standard New 3DS. I'll figure it out.

The Animal Crossing Happy Home Designer bundle will be released on September 25th and it is gift from my partner. He says it is a bday gift but mentioned how he needs to think of what to get me for my bday on October 18th there being too many days away since I will get the bundle. I keep telling him he has gotten me the best birthday present ever and that there isn't anything else I wish to have. He also pre-ordered the physical copy of the game so that's a lot more I could ever wish for. Once I get it and find the time, if I ever do, I'll take photos of my upcoming beautiful new handheld system and post them here :) In the meantime enjoy these New Leaf bundle shots!
