Hi. I am Lydia, happy owner of Eerie Silence. Here's a little about me.

I absolutely love God, life, music, food and the camera, but really the people that are involved in my life. This is my personal photo journal in which I want you to feel. With entries that are heart felt. The ones that draw more than just my memory back at a moment. My goal is to create an environment where this is possible.

For me there is something fulfilling about taking photographs and falling completely in love with it and the memories it creates. With that being said, photography is crazy important to me, and if for you too, then we're totally going to be a great fit!

 Animal Crossing Amiibo Figures

It was decided by my boyfriend and I to open up our Christmas gifts early this year. Certain presents have to be opened at the exact right (& precise) moments. It was just the right mood, we were sitting under our beautiful and tall glowing Christmas tree at night talking as we wrapped some of our daughter's gifts. He asked if I wanted to open a gift. He had been teasing me for days now! I could go on and on but... fast forwarding >>> he can barely hold a secret when it's about a present for me, he usually gets way to excited and tells me or shows me before hand just wanting to see my expression, this year he passed without telling me! Yay! But we still agreed upon opening our gifts early. Like I said, it was the perfect mood, and we want the actual Christmas day to be spent seeing our baby smashing her gifts open and taking family photos (hopefully) and making an amazing dinner, similar to our Thanksgiving, which we spent at our home, putting up our three, cooking and playing with our daughter. Couldn't have been better.

Let's talk about s o m e, of my many amazing Christmas gifts shall we... Up until about last week I owned a total of zero Amiibo figures and I was totally ok with that. How much did I not cared about Amiibo figures prior that said week? So much that I wasn't even into the Animal Crossing figures releasing being a huge Animal Crossing fan! Never once had I seen any of these in person. Then I started seeing the posts of my fellow instagramers and I was in awe at how perfect these look. These were the best Amiibo I've ever laid my eyes on, even if cybernetically. Looked up reviews and I then started drooling! Not really, c'mon gross!

You finally got me, Nintendo (Amiibo wise)

I've spent so much already on amiibo cards with more series on the way and in a bunch of Animal Crossing merchandise! I’d been holding out so well, telling myself the figures were pointless and useless to me. "Not gonna get them, Not gonna get them. I don't need them." Because they actually were. Now I am eagerly awaiting Celeste and Blathers in January. Hell, I’ll probably even grab Kicks and Resetti. I might not completely have use for these beautiful figures to date but it's all about having Isabelle, Digby, Lottie, Mabel, Tom Nook, K.K Reese and Cyrus sitting on our desk at all times. Waited for Isabelle and Digby to write this post. Enjoy the macro shots! Which aren't the best to be honest because I am still adapting to the newest lens I got ;) ...
