Hi. I am Lydia, happy owner of Eerie Silence. Here's a little about me.

I absolutely love God, life, music, food and the camera, but really the people that are involved in my life. This is my personal photo journal in which I want you to feel. With entries that are heart felt. The ones that draw more than just my memory back at a moment. My goal is to create an environment where this is possible.

For me there is something fulfilling about taking photographs and falling completely in love with it and the memories it creates. With that being said, photography is crazy important to me, and if for you too, then we're totally going to be a great fit!

I ordered, it arrived the next day, I tried it at night with the 24-120mm lens, it was love at first sight. From the moment I took it out the box it felt glorious. After years with my Nikon D90 this feels like what it is, a newer much advanced camera. I have yet to get familiarized with all its features. Last night I took the first photos ever with it and I am here to show you for the first time in the life of Eerie Silence, some straight out of camera photos, also known as sooc or in more detail, photos that aren't edited.

These photos were taken on the night of May 17, 2016. I was in shock! because as mentioned, it was night time and our apartment was much darker than what the camera delivered. The camera was set to af so I didn't manually focused anything. I was way too excited and shaky to try that off the bat.

I like these photos because these are real moments too. My daughter quickly made a mess of the boxes in where my Nikon was delivered. She specially loved the bubble wraps. And my partner was on his PS4 and I think it made the photos that much awesome because of our TV being on.

These last two were taken on the morning of the next day. Also known as today :)
