Hi. I am Lydia, happy owner of Eerie Silence. Here's a little about me.

I absolutely love God, life, music, food and the camera, but really the people that are involved in my life. This is my personal photo journal in which I want you to feel. With entries that are heart felt. The ones that draw more than just my memory back at a moment. My goal is to create an environment where this is possible.

For me there is something fulfilling about taking photographs and falling completely in love with it and the memories it creates. With that being said, photography is crazy important to me, and if for you too, then we're totally going to be a great fit!

I am and I've been rather busy trying to put together Raiden's 1st birthday which is today but she will have a party for it on Saturday. Today I will be baking her smash cake in the hopes to get some cute photos and sing to her later on tonight.

Anyway but I wanted to have some me time in between all of this! So I took some photos yesterday of this lovely mail package I received from a lovely girl named Eva whom I had the pleasure to meet on Instagram. I first came across her Instagram back when Animal Crossing Happy Home Designer released. Her photo was top on the tags. I quickly fell in love with her profile. She quickly followed we exchanged a few praising over each other's Instagram profiles. Some time later added each other on Miitomo and honestly she's the only person of my friend's who still uses it and keeps things so interesting. Thanks to Miitomo I got to see her personality and know some details about her. That's always good.

This is funny so I will ad more to the story. On Miitomo I've learned a couple of things thanks to Eva. Like how whenever you get the hiccups one should try to lay flat and tilt your head a little bit upwards like you would in a CPR situation, and just breathe thoroughly. Also about how much better organic milk tastes and eventually I found a bit of curiosty in tea which is how we got to this package she sent me. I told her I've never had tea and that I had no idea what good tea should taste like. She assured me she would be mailing me some if I wanted. Of course, things like this make me extremely shy but I think it is rude to say no to someone offer. A few days later I received this amazing package from her expecting only tea. So when I opened the first thing that I saw was this cute little Yotsuba box.

Call me naive or whatever seems appropriate but I was expecting some tea bags in the box. Like in the Yotsuba box.. Don't laugh but I did. I was like aw what a cute box she chose to put it in! I was thinking there would be some tea bags in there aha! I even showed my partner the box unaware of five little Yotsuba dolls being in there awaiting me. So as I opened it my eyes went big. I saw a couple of Yotsuba dollies in their original wrapping and more kept coming out and I quickly turned back to my partner and said, "omg look she sent me the whole Yotsuba set omg!" He was like "wow she is amazing! That's just so awesome of her, seriously". I was and still am so happy! This isn't something I could've bought myself because trying to get these would be difficult, but also my only option would've been Ebay and they are way overpriced. I could cry guys!

There's a total of five extremely adorable Yotsuba's I can only imagine all the adventures one could create with these cuties! Just shooting these simple, not so original, photos I had a blast! With my new camera I now can see how much smooth and creamy my photos come out.

She also sent in this thing I can't name it for you but basically it gives your hard boiled eggs shape. I think this would be perfect for Raiden once she gets bigger and can eat a whole egg. It is freaking cute! I didn't take close ups of it. Sorry. I shall try to make a post later and review it maybe. And last but not least, the reason why I received the package in the first place, the tea. At the moment I am recovering from a sore throat and I my tongue has lost taste so I haven't tried it yet. I can't wait! I trust her with her choice so I know it HAS to be so good!

A very special thanks to Eva for doing such an incredible thing for me. I suck at mailing things and even attempting to make packages but I will be thinking on a way to return the favor in the hopes to make her at least half as happy as she's made me. Thanks for reading! I am off to bake a layered bake for my daughter now!

P.S. I am still finding a way to edit photos. Now that I own a laptop the colors are slightly different here so they look different than my older way to process photographs. I hope they're still likable.
